The Emergency VPN is a service that provides a free security assessment of your phone’s network traffic to determine if your phone is infected, under attack, or compromised.
The Emergency VPN works as any other VPN, with the addition that once you connect to the Emergency VPN our team will capture the network traffic generated from the device in order to analyze it and find potential security threats. The Emergency VPN works for a maximum of three (3) days, after which if you want to connect again you will need to request a new VPN profile.
Expert analysts will thoroughly analyze the data received and determine if your phone is infected, or if there are any threats that you should be aware of. You control when to connect and how much time you stay connected. Get started with just an email.

With a VPN, all the traffic of your phone is encrypted and sent securely to a trusted server before going to the internet. A VPN provides security and privacy for your data in-transit, between your local network and the VPN server.

The Emergency VPN is a service that provides a free security analysis of your mobile device to determine if your phone is infected, under attack, or compromised. The Emergency VPN allows us to see the network traffic generated by your mobile phone in order to analyze it and assess the risks.
We take advantage that malware, spyware and stalkerware needs to send and receive data over the internet. By looking at the network traffic, our expert analysts can identify the suspicious connections, data leaking, and other possible threats to alert you to take quick action.
HOW DOES THE EMERGENCY VPN HELP ME UNDERSTAND MY RISKS?
Once you connect to the Emergency VPN, our team will capture the network traffic generated from the device for a few days. We will thoroughly analyze the data received and determine if your phone is infected, or if there are any threats that you should be aware of.
What type of data can you see?
We can see all the network connections generated by the mobile phone while connected to the VPN, however we cannot see the content of the connections unless they are not encrypted. We cannot see your passwords, content of your emails, personal conversations, and websites that use HTTPS, as they are sent encrypted. Any confidential information that our analysts find will be reported as a security threat, along with the application generating the leaking of data whenever possible.
Who has access to the data?
Our Civilsphere team has access to the data. Your data is protected by NDAs signed by all our members with the Czech Technical University.
When do I know if my device is compromised?
The Emergency VPN works for a maximum of three (3) days. After this time, our team will carefully analyze the traffic and search for any possible threat visible in the data. After the analysis is finished, our team will contact you with the analysis results.
